Buying
Attending a Cyberauction is fun and exciting! Let's look at the four steps of buying at an auction:
1. Registration
If this is your first visit to cyberauctions.com you need to register an account with us by filling out the registration form. You must be at least 18 years old to register and participate in the auction. Registration is free, and you have no obligation to buy anything. We do not sell your personal data to any mailing list. If you're already registered, please login.
2. Bidding
Click Auctions for a currently “active” list/online catalog. When you find an item of interest, click on it for further details and to bid. A complete description of the item along with the terms and conditions are available for your review. Please note the buyers' premium. Also, note if you are buying more than 1 item in a lot, you will be charged just once. For example, if a lot of 4 chairs sold for $40, you would pay $40 plus the buyers' fee of 15%, not $40 per item. Totals will display when you finalize or reconfirm your bid. For security reasons you must enter your password each time you bid, unless you turn on pro-bid. The bidding system also has a Max bid feature. To utilize the Max bid simply enter the highest amount that you would pay for a lot. Amounts need to be in the same increments that are displayed in the description area. The system will then automatically bid for you up to the amount you bid. Bids that are placed first win any tie bids. It's that easy. You will be notified by email when you are not the high bidder. If you wish to bid again, follow the link back to cyberauctions.com and submit another bid. For quick access check out your bids from your Personal Control Center by selecting "Dashboard."
Bidding errors
Placing a bid on an item is an irrevocable offer to buy an item at the price of the bid. We will not cancel bids simply because a bidder has changed his or her mind. There must be a legitimate reason to do so. If you've made an error while placing a bid, please contact us through the online e-mail system immediately and explain why you need to cancel the bid.
3. Paying
If you are the winning bidder at the close of an auction you will receive an e-mail asking you to pay your invoice. Payments may be made online at cyberauctions.com under your Personal Control Center, or you may pay in person at the time of pickup. Outstanding and Past invoices can be found from your Personal Control Center. It is your responsibility upon winning the bid to follow through and complete the purchase. Generally, payment needs to be in the form of Visa or Master Card. Your bankcard statement will say Ehli Auctions or Ehli Industrial, LLC. Sellers may have special payment requirements or require that payment needs to take place at the sellers' place of business. This is generally the case with lots that include vehicles or Real Estate or for total $2,000.00 or greater.
4. Shipping
Each Auction has its own terms and conditions. You can find the link next to the auction name. This will tell you where the auction is located, and whether shipping is available. We do not offer shipping for on-site auctions (ie. auctions that are not held at Ehli Auctions). Many items require in-person pick up, including but not limited to items containing hazardous materials, fragile items, unusually shaped lots, etc. If shipping is required, add your order to the shipping queue. Be sure that you have a good card on file and that the address on file is valid. The shipping manager will contact you. Be sure that you do not pay your invoice untill asked to do so by the shipping manager.
